Hello swimmers and parents,

Unfortunately, due to the rescheduling of the meet, we have not been able to secure a bus driver for Friday afternoon. We have tried several different avenues but there is no availability.

Our junior and senior swimmers have offered to drive the team to the meet (they should have discussed with their parents for approval). The swimmers who can drive and their car capacity were posted in the team group chat the kids and the coaches have so they can coordinate rides. If your swimmer needs a ride, make sure he/she is participating in the group chat. Here is the updated schedule:

• Arrive at GAC: 3:50pm
• Warm-ups start: 4:00pm
• Meet starts: 4:30pm
• Location: Greater Atlanta Christian School (Freeman Aquatic Center), 1575 Indian Trail Lilburn Road NW, Norcross, GA 30093 (about 20-25 minutes from CHS)

Important Notes:

• The school will be notified of early dismissal for the swimmers so it will be an excused absence for a school activity. 
• Sub sandwiches, fruit, drinks and snacks will be provided for the team at the meet.
• If you (the parent) will be transporting your swimmer to the meet or have any other concerns, please let Coach Almstedt ([email protected]) know by tomorrow night (1/22). We want to make sure that each swimmer has transportation to and from the meet by Friday morning.
