Greetings Swimmers and Parents,

Thank you to Coach Salazar for hosting Friday’s fun pasta dinner party! And thank you to the families that contributed food and drinks. The next pasta dinner party is on December 5. Sign up to contribute on the pasta dinner party on December 5th on SwimTopia (see link below)!

There will be 2 days of practice during Thanksgiving break week. Plan to attend if you are in town!

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Meet Attendance: If you signed up to participate in a meet, attend the meet. The team pays entry fees per athlete per athlete participating per meet. In addition, the relay teams will have to be reworked last minute and that has ripple effects to the other scheduled relay teams and may leave teammates without a relay to swim. If you are unexpectedly ill, contact Coach Salazar as soon as possible at [email protected].
  • Bus travel on meet days: On swim meet days, the expectation is that all athletes will ride the bus to and from the swim meet. If a parent wants to drive their child, while discouraged, they may submit a written request at least 24 hours prior to the event to Coach Salazar at [email protected].
  • Attire on meet days: Athletes should wear their team t-shirts and warm-ups on meet days, along with their team swimsuit or plain black swimsuit and CHS swim cap.

MCCALLIE INVITATIONAL (TRAVEL MEET, November 21-22)

  • The team will leave from CHS the afternoon of Friday, November 21 and will return to the CHS parking lot late night Saturday, November 22.
  • Swimmers and parents of swimmers attending the McCallie Invitational will receive the itinerary full of information tonight
