CHS Swim + Dive - Weekly Newsletter 10-27-25

Greetings Team and Parents,

Our first real meet of the season is this weekend! Today is the last day to sign up for the North Forsyth Annual Kickoff Invitational on Saturday, November 1. Due to Halloween and the home football game, we will not have a pasta dinner party this Friday. Please note, if you sign up for a meet and do not show up, this causes issues for the entire team. If you have an emergency and are unable to make the meet, contact Coach Salazar ([email protected]) or Coach Almstedt ([email protected]) immediately!

We had to make a few adjustments to our schedule to adhere to the 10 meet rule. We removed one of the meets and adjusted some dates on the pasta parties. If you had already signed up for the pasta party on November 7, apologies. Please sign up for the pasta party on November 14.

  • Attire on meet days: Athletes should wear their team t-shirts and warm-ups on meet days, along with their team swimsuit or plain black swimsuit.
  • Volunteer requirements: We ask that each family volunteer over the season. This can be timing or other jobs during the meets. It can also be providing part of the meal for the team pasta dinners. All of these opportunities to volunteer can be found in SwimTopia by clicking the green ‘JOB SIGNUP’ button next to each entry for a meet or pasta dinner.
