ACTION REQUIRED by 10/27: North Forsyth Annual Kickoff Invitational on Saturday, November 1

Swimmers and Parents,

Please take a minute to go to our SwimTopia website and indicate if your swimmer is participating in the North Forsyth Annual Kickoff Invitational. RSVPs are needed by end of day Monday, 10/27. Apologies for the rushed response but the required file from the meet organizers was sent to us very late. Our coaches need to submit our line up on Tuesday, 10/28 so it is very important that everyone indicate if they will be participating or not ASAP. Here is the link to the SwimTopia meet page:

Scroll down to the North Forsyth 18th Annual Kickoff Invitational entry and hit the green MEET ENTRY button. Declaration is only needed for Session 1. Session 2 is for divers and should not be available to you. This meet is open to middle school as well so our 8th graders can participate.

Parents - Volunteer for timing the events during the meet by using the green JOB SIGNUP button next to the green MEET ENTRY button. We only need 4 volunteer timers from our team. I have split them up with 2 in the first half of the meet and 2 in the second half. If you sign up for the first half, there is a timers' meeting at 12:15pm. I have estimated the time on the shifts so these can vary.

Swimmers - Wear your team t-shirts, which were given out at yesterday's time trials, and your warm up uniform (if you have received it). Remember to wear a black swimsuit and have your CHS swim cap (which was also given out at yesterday's time trials) and 2 pairs of swim goggles.

  • Bus pickup from CHS: 10:00am (8th graders ARE allowed to ride the bus)
  • Warm-up start time: 11:30am - 12:30pm
  • Timers' Meeting: 12:15pm
  • Coaches' Meeting: 12:30pm
  • Meet start time: 12:45pm

The bus will drop off your swimmers at CHS after the meet. If parents are not planning to attend the meet, ask your swimmer to text you when the bus leaves the aquatic center for an estimated time of arrival to CHS, if they need to be picked up. This is one of the longer meets of the season because it includes several high schools as well as middle school events.

An additional note, snacks and drinks are provided at every meet. Swimmers should also take a refillable water bottle. Because this is a longer meet, a meal will also be provided for the swimmers.

Let me know if you have any questions, especially new families to the team!

Go Knights!!
