Greetings Team and Parents,

Happy new year!! We hope everyone was able to relax and have a nice winter break. Now we are ready to finish the season strong! Thanks to all of you who attended practice over the break. We have a busy month and a half ahead!

We have two senior recognition events coming up. The first is at our meet vs Northview this Saturday. Sign up for the meet today! We will recognize our seniors, as will Northview, before the meet starts. The second is at the basketball game on January 14. All winter sport seniors will be recognized. Make sure to attend the basketball game to support our fantastic senior swimmers and diver as they are recognized!

Don’t forget! We are hosting an exciting fundraiser during the 2025 College Football National Championship game on January 20, 2025! Squares can be purchased on a 10x10 grid gameboard, hoping to be in the right place at the right time. Each athlete is asked to sell at least 3 squares by January 19. Cash prizes are paid out to gameboard winners, and athletes will receive incentives for selling. FULTON COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP MEET (Thursday, January 9)

• Warm-ups start: 3:45pm
• Start time: 4:40pm
• Diving warm-up: 1:15pm, start time: 2:00pm

• FULTON COUNTY QUALIFYING TIMES
  • Swimmers must meet these qualifying times in order to participate in the Fulton County Championship
  • Go to SwimTopia, click on the green ‘MEET ENTRY’ button, look for Session 2. You will only be allowed to sign up if you have a qualifying time in an event. Please note, currently Session 2 says that it’s on 1/10 with a note clarifying the 1/9 date. There was a file error. All sessions are on Thursday, 1/9.

CENTENNIAL VS NORTHVIEW MEET (Saturday, January 11)

• This will be a special meet as we will be honoring our seniors! Note, all swimmers can participate. We will recognize our seniors prior to the meet start, and then swim a regular meet.

SENIOR NIGHT

• Centennial will celebrate Senior Night for winter sports on Tuesday, January 14 during the 7:30pm basketball game. All swimmers are encouraged to attend the basketball game and support our fantastic senior swimmers and diver!

COLLEGE FOOTBALL NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP FUNDRAISER

• We are hosting a fundraiser during the College Football National Championship game on January 20, 2025!
• Squares can be purchased on a 10x10 grid gameboard at $25 per square
• Numbers will be randomly auto-generated once the board is filled
• Each athlete is asked to sell at least 3 squares by January 19
• Cash prizes will be paid out to gameboard winners at the end of each quarter (Q1 - $100, Q2 - $100, Q3 - $100, Q4 - $500)
• There are incentives for the first athlete to sell 4 squares, and for the athlete that sells the most squares
