Greetings Team and Parents,

We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving break and are now ready to tackle December! We have a busy time ahead so it is critical that all team members RSVP in SwimTopia for the Pope Plunge, the Pasta Party at the Gricus home, the Pasta/Holiday Party at the Almstedt home and the Regional Meet.

Please note, if you previously signed up for snacks/drinks for the Pope Plunge, check SwimTopia for adjustments. We have made edits to the snack list based on current inventory. We are mostly in need of drinks, fresh fruit and cheese sticks.

WESTMINSTER SWIM & DIVE MEET (Tuesday, December 3)

• Bus departs from Centennial: 3:00pm (wear team gear); students will be excused during 6^th period
• Warm-ups start: 4:55pm
• Meet start time: 5:30pm
• Location: Westminster School, 1550 West Wesley Road, Atlanta, GA 30327 (back gate address to avoid carpool traffic; front entrance is off of W. Paces Ferry Road)
• Snacks/drinks needed! Sign up using the green ‘JOB SIGNUP’ button next to the meet information. If you sign up for snacks, please send them with your swimmer on the bus on meet day. https://centennialswimanddive.swimtopia.com/swim_meets

  • Spectators can park below the Turner Gym drop-off parking lot or the Kent Field lot, which is a short walk to the pool (there is also a parking deck but it is a longer walk)
  • Go to the front of the building to enter by the wildcat statue. The spectator section is on this level.

THE POPE PLUNGE 2024 SWIM & DIVE MEET (Saturday, December 7)

• Bus departs from Centennial: 5:00pm (wear team gear)
• Warm-ups start: 5;30pm (CHS at 6:00pm)
• Meet start time: 6:30pm
• Location: Central (Cobb) Aquatic Center, 520 Fairground Street, Marietta, GA 30060
• Timers and snacks needed! Sign up using the green ‘JOB SIGNUP’ button next to the meet information. If you sign up for snacks, please send them with your swimmer on the bus on meet day. https://centennialswimanddive.swimtopia.com/swim_meets
• Note: This meet will charge a spectator fee. Volunteers are free.

HOLIDAY PASTA PARTY (Friday, December 13)

• This is an annual holiday celebration for the athletes. Tradition includes a white elephant gift game. If you are planning to participate, bring a wrapped fun gift valued at $15-$20.
• Wear your silliest holiday attire!
• Remember to RSVP on SwimTopia and also sign up to contribute to the meal.
• Location/Time: the Almstedt home (9145 Branch Valley Way, Roswell) at 6:30pm
