Greetings Team and Parents,
Welcome to the 2024-2025 CHS Swim + Dive season! This is the first newsletter, which will continue to be sent through the season on a weekly basis. In these newsletters you will find details regarding swim meet schedules, bus schedules, volunteer schedules, spirit wear pick-up information, pasta parties and any other special events and information. We look forward to a great season!
IMPORTANT UPCOMING DATES
- Monday October 7, FIRST DAY OF PRACTICE @ SWAT pool 7:45-9:00 pm
- Friday, October 11, Late Registration Ends
- Tuesday, October 22, Spirit Night Fundraiser at Whit’s Frozen Custard, 1570 Holcomb Bridge Road
- Saturday, October 26, Black & Blue Time Trials (Swim Only), SWAT pool @ 2:00pm
- Friday, November 1, Pasta Party, @ Coach Salazar’s house (more info to come)
- Saturday, November 2, North Forsyth Meet (Swim + Dive), Cumming Aquatic Center

- RSVP to all meets by clicking the green ‘RSVP’ button
- Sign up for food donations and to volunteer during the meets by clicking the green ‘JOB SIGNUP’ button
PRACTICE SCHEDULE
- Practice Location: Swim Atlanta (SWAT), 795 Old Roswell Road
- Practice Time: Monday – Thursday, 7:45 – 9:00 pm
BLACK & BLUE INTERSQUAD TIME TRIALS (Saturday, October 26)
- RSVP for the time trial meet ASAP on SwimTopia (https://centennialswimanddive.swimtopia.com/swim_meets)
- Start Time: 2:00pm
- Location: Swim Atlanta, 795 Old Roswell Road
- Snacks needed! Please sign up on SwimTopia to donate snacks. If you sign up for snacks, please send them with your swimmer. https://centennialswimanddive.swimtopia.com/swim_meets
- We will also need volunteer timers. A sign-up button can be found on SwimTopia next to the meet information. This is a great way to be front row on all the action!
FINS, PARKAS, SPIRIT WEAR
- If your swimmer still
needs to pick up fins or “rent” a parka, they can do so at Thursday’s practice,
October 10th.
- Please note, parkas are "rented" for the season and require a $100 check as a deposit. The check will be returned at the end of the season when the parkas are returned. The $100 deposit check should be made out to CHS Swim & Dive.
- If you cannot make it to Thursday’s practice, contact Beth White ([email protected]) to make other arrangements to pick up fins and/or a parka.
- Shirts, swim caps and warm-ups have been ordered and will be distributed as soon as they come in!
