Thank you all for your support last week at the Fulton Country Championship Meet!! We received many complements on how well it was run. Go team!

Below are important dates and information. If you have any questions, please contact a member of the Swim Team Board.

• Thursday, January 12th – Region 6-AAAAA Meet (GIRLS SWIM)
• Friday, January 13th – Region 6-AAAAA Meet (BOYS SWIM)
• Saturday, January 14th – Region 6-AAAAA (SWIM FINALS)
• Friday, January 20th – Team Pasta Party * Date Change *
• Friday, January 20th – 52^nd Metro Invitational @ Westminster (DIVE ONLY)
• Saturday, January 21st – 52^nd Metro Invitational @ Westminster (SWIM ONLY)

** NEW** Swimtopia has been updated to allow Swimmers to request 2 individual events. Please help the Coaches by letting them know what you want to swim!

REGION 6-AAAAA MEET (Thursday, January 12 GIRLS SWIM, Friday, January 13 BOYS SWIM, Saturday, January 14 SWIM FINALS)

New Region this year, new meet for us! There are no qualifying times for the prelims for this meet, so if you signed up, plan to swim!

• Location: Greater Atlanta Christian School, 1575 Indian Trail Rd, Norcross, GA 30093

• FOOD: Snacks and sandwiches for team provided. Concessions will also be available for purchase at the meet each day.
• Thursday, January 12: GIRLS SWIM Prelims:
  • Bus will leave CHS at 2 PM. GIRLS swimming in the meet should plan to ride the bus. Athletes attending the meet are excused from class. Athletes should plan to dismiss at 1:45 from 5^th Period and make their way to the bus for departure. Athletes should wear the Team Warm-Ups on the Bus to the Meet. **There is no Bus to bring athletes back** We need a few volunteers to bring athletes back after the Meet – please let Jamie Shipp know if you plan to attend and can bring athletes back.   • Meet Times: 3:15 pm warm-up, 5 pm start time
• Friday, January 13: BOYS SWIM Prelims:
  • Bus will leave CHS at 2 PM. BOYS swimming in the meet should plan to ride the bus. Athletes attending the meet are excused from class. Athletes should plan to dismiss at 1:45 from 5^th Period and make their way to the bus for departure. Athletes should wear the Team Warm-Ups on the Bus to the Meet. Coach Kevin will drive the boys back to CHS. Please let him know if your athlete has other transportation back from the meet (i.e. you or another parent).
  • Meet Times: 3:15 pm warm-up, 5 pm start time
• Saturday, January 14: SWIM FINALS:
  • Meet Times: 2:30pm warm-up, 4pm Start time
  • Bus will leave CHS at 1:30 PM. Swimmers attending the meet should plan to ride the bus. Athletes should wear the Team Warm-Ups on the Bus to the Meet. Please arrive before to help load for timely departure!! The bus will bring the athletes back to CHS after the meet.

52^nd METRO INVITATIONAL (Friday, January 20 (DIVE) and Saturday, January 21 (SWIM))

Athletes should wear the Team Warm-Ups to the Meet.

• Location: Westminster, 1424 W. Paces Ferry Rd. NW Atlanta, GA 30327
• Friday: DIVE ONLY Start 4:00 PM Divers provide own transportation.
• Saturday: SWIM ONLY: Bus departure time 2:30 PM. Please arrive before to help load for timely departure!!

Snacks and Timers will likely be needed! Please check for sign up on Swimtopia. If you sign up for snacks, please send them on the bus with your swimmer. https://centennialswimanddive.swimtopia.com/
