It’s been a great first half of the season! We’re heading into the home stretch after break! Help is needed to make it smooth and successful, especially for the County Meet right after break - please see below! And have a safe and happy holiday break!!

IMPORTANT DATES

• ** NEW ** Tuesday, December 13 – Senior Pictures – 3:45 pm CHS
• Friday, December 16th – Marist Dive Meet (DIVE ONLY)
• Wednesday, December 28th – Cambridge Dive Meet (DIVE ONLY)
• Thursday, January 5th – Fulton County Championship Meet (SWIM & DIVE)

** NEW** Swimtopia has been updated to allow Swimmers to request 2 individual events. Please help the Coaches by letting them know what you want to swim!

SENIOR PICTURES, TUESDAY, DECEMBER 13 @ 3:45PM

Senior banner pictures are this Tuesday at 3:45pm. Meet in front of CHS (car pool circle area) by 3:45. Athletes should wear the Team Warm-Up Top.

MARIST DIVE MEET, CHS v. MARIST + OTHERS (Friday, December 16) (DIVE ONLY)

Athletes should wear the Team Warm-Ups to the Meet. There is not a bus for the Dive meet.

o Start 4:00 PM

o Location: Marist Aquatic Center

CAMBRIDGE DIVE MEET, CHS v. CAMBRIDGE + OTHERS (Wednesday, December 28) (DIVE ONLY)

Athletes should wear the Team Warm-Ups to the Meet. There is not a bus for the Dive meet.

o Start 1:00 PM, Warm-Up 12:30 PM

o Location: Cumming Aquatic Center, 201 Aquatic Cir., Cumming, GA 30040

o Arrive at NOON to have sheets signed and be ready for warm-ups.

FULTON COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP MEET (Thursday, January 5) (SWIM & DIVE)

** Athletes should mark availability on Swimptopia by the end of this week **

• Location: West Gwinnett Park & Aquatic Center, 4488 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Norcross, GA 30071
• Bus will leave CHS at 12 PM. All swimmers and divers attending the meet should plan to ride the bus. Athletes attending the meet are excused from class. Athletes should wear the Team Warm-Ups on the Bus to the Meet.
• Meet Times: Dive starts at 2 pm, Swim starts at 5 pm.
• Spectator admission is $8 for adults, free for volunteers. Wristbands will be given upon entry.
• **Note: This meet has qualifying times. Athletes are encouraged to attend even if they don’t qualify.

***IMPORTANT***VOLUNTEER!!! This is Centennial’s year to host the meet!! We need all hands on deck to make it smooth! Job sign up for volunteers and snack donations will be added to Swimtopia soon. We will need Timers, Check-in help, and Dive help. Volunteers get in FREE! If you can help, please contact Ellen Shea (volunteers) [email protected] or Kathryn Hipp (snacks) [email protected]. Mon 12/12/22 – Fri 12/16/22 - Normal Practice time 8-9 pm.

Tues 12/20/22 and Thurs 12/22/22 - Practice from 3-4pm

Mon 12/26/22 – Thurs 12/29/22 - Practice from 3-4:30pm
