CHS Swim & Dive - Weekly Bulletin 10-18-21
Greetings Team and Parents,
Hope the first week of practice went well for everyone! We’re excited for the Black & Blue Time Trials this week!
Below are important dates and information. If you have any questions, please contact a member of the Swim Team Board.

UPDATED PRACTICE SCHEDULE
Practice times updated! 6 am -7 am, Monday through Friday
Place: Roswell Adult Center, 200 Frank Lewis Dr, Roswell, 30075.
Both Varsity and JV should attend every day. Year round swimmers do not need to attend. ** See October 13 email with carpool information, if interested.
** NOTE ** All athletes must upload their physical to Dragonfly before they can swim.
SWIMMERS AND DIVERS MEETING – TUESDAY OCT. 19 – 3:30pm
There will be a team meeting for swimmers and divers on Tuesday, 10/19 in Coach Jacobi’s classroom (Room H56) at 3:30 immediately after school and last about 45 minutes. All seasonal swimmers, year round swimmers, and divers should plan to be in attendance. We will introduce captains, coaches, and discuss team and individual goals and expectations for the season.
** Rachael will have parkas here for pick up – please see note below and send your check if you haven’t already!
** Athletes will receive a waiver that needs to be signed and returned to Coach Jacobi ASAP.
1ST TEAM PASTA DINNER (FRIDAY, OCTOBER 22ND) @6:30PM:
Our first past party of the season is this Friday! Please RSVP in Swimtopia and sign up to bring something!

BLACK & BLUE TIME TRIALS (Saturday, October 23rd)
Calling all ghouls and goblins! Our Black & Blue Meet (Time Trials) will have a Halloween theme! Swimmers are encouraged to dress up! Please make sure your swimmer has marked availability in Swimtopia!
NOTE CHANGE: There will be NO bus for this meet. Swimmers are responsible for their own transportation.
Warm-up: 3:00 PM Start: 3:30 PM

Snacks and volunteers are needed for this meet - sign up on Swimtopia https://centennialswimanddive.swimtopia.com/ . If you sign up for snacks, please send them with your swimmer on the bus. Thank you!
Spiritwear, magnets, and towels will be available for purchase by check only.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Reminder: Please pay all fees through Picklejuice and OSP if you have not done so already!
SPIRIT WEAR/SWIM GEAR INFO & DELIVERY
If you ordered a parka and still need to pick it up, Rachael will be at the Swim Team meeting tomorrow at 3:30p in Coach Jacobi's room. Please send in the $100 deposit check (made out to CHS Swim & Dive) and it can be picked up then. Both fins and any swimsuits ordered at info night can be picked up then as well.
Caps, team shirts, and warm ups will be distributed at the Time Trials on Saturday or at the first meet.

Other Spirit Wear ordered from the online store will be delivered at the first meet on Tuesday, November 2nd.
TOWELS!
NEW This year, we are offering CHS Swim and Dive towels, available for purchase on Picklejuice. Towels are large, royal blue, Lands End towels, with custom CHS embroidery. Towels are $35.00. Purchase 1 or a few!
Towels will also be available for purchase at a few of our swim meets (checks will be accepted for payment).
Once purchased, towels will be given to your swimmer either at the next pasta dinner or swim meet.
